O Nuno, certeiro como sempre, um dia lá me foi dizendo que eu tinha os Dexys mal arrumados, que eles eram uma excelente banda, de geometria variável, com três discos que fariam um bom bife do lombo corar de vergonha por andar a fazer publicidade enganosa.

Em suma, era preciso que eu entendesse que os tipos que tinham enchido as festas da minha irmã de “Geno” e “Celtic Soul Brothers” eram coisa de mundo muito maior (quantas vezes maior) que aquela sala que ia encolhendo à medida que a tarde avançava, em que o calor não descolava das paredes nem se vazava pelas janelas, milimetricamente fechadas para imitar uma noite que ainda era proibida.

Era também preciso descobrir que eram muito maiores que a discoteca de província onde a velha guitarra invisível e silenciosa amparou as primeiras cervejas.

Bendito o dia em que percebi. Nestes que agora correm muito tem tocado este Plan B, a forçar a primavera a acordar.
